If you are planning a trip to Nassau and looking for things to do in Nassau, one of my favorite Nassau shore excursions is making a day trip to Pearl Island, Bahamas. Guests visiting Pearl Island will find a secluded beach, a snorkeling reef, and a small bar serving food & drinks.
Located just 30 minutes via boat from Nassau, Pearl Island is a small private island that has its own lighthouse, sandy beaches, and water activities.
For a small fee, you can spend the day lying on the beach, snorkeling their very own reef, or taking a kayak out on the ocean.

You will find a relaxed setting with beach chairs by the ocean, a shaded deck, bathroom facilities (showers as well), and a bar & grill. There is even Wi-Fi on the island.
We recently spent part of the day during a Nassau shore excursion at Pearl Island, Bahamas.
After a few hours of fantastic snorkeling right off the coast of the island, our boat docked, and we spent time checking out all this popular destination has to offer.
You’ll find Pearl Island surrounded by crystal blue water with 2 small sandy beaches.
There are plenty of beach chairs scattered on several sections of the island that will allow you to relax and enjoy the view.
