Tips for Booking Cozumel Excursions

  • When you book your Cozumel excursion on your own, make sure that you book them in advance of your trip. While you can wait until the last minute, it may cost you more if you book them the day of your trip. Instead, book them through a third party who often can get the best price.
  • Most excursions that you book will offer you transportation. Make sure you read the details before you book to know what is included in your cost.
  • Those wanting to spend time at a beach should be aware that there is a current uptake in the brown Sargasso seaweed. While this shouldn’t alarm you, you will want to ensure you are aware of the Sargasso Seaweed forecast.
  • If you are visiting Cozumel on a cruise, you will want to plan your excursions so that your return time is well in advance of when the ship leaves port. While cruise excursions booked through the cruise line will wait for their guests, those who book on their own are literally on their own! I don’t tell you this to scare you but to be aware.
